Welcome to my My Daughter’s Apron! I decided to create this blog after my (now apron-less) daughter reunited me with my passion for cooking upon her return home from a year living in Paris. She came back to the States excited to create every dish from scratch. With her contagious enthusiasm, I created a cooking group with a few friends. In our “test” kitchen, we gather each week armed with a plan: baking our first totally from scratch pie crust, creating amazing finger foods for an upcoming party, inventing a meat inspired dish to feed our hungry, carnivorous spouses, and the list goes on… From my cooking group, My Daughter’s Apron was born. Over the last two years my blog has evolved to focus  primarily on healthy recipes that continue to be easy to prepare with the freshest ingredients available. I’m hoping My Daughter’s Apron will inspire you to create nutritious yet delicious meals you can feed not only your family but your company as well. So dust off your apron and let’s get cooking!
